Kristi
and I hope everyone had a great Christmas with family and friends!
We made our usual rounds again this year to visit all our NC families
and even had a few get togethers with friends. This has been a
busy second year of marriage for us, with many friends and family
getting married. Reflecting back on 2007 makes us realize how
blessed we are to have such a loving family and network of friends.
We are thankful for the birth our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ,
our health, job promotions, our beautiful house, and the continued
love that we share. Kristi and I have watched the progress on
Mom & Dad O'Connor's new house, as it is really coming along.
They hope to move in sometime in February. Here are some of the
latest photos.
Santa brought us a new camera this year, and we hope to learn
the many aspects of manual photography. We look forward to capturing
a plethora of great memories in 2008

After
just 2 days on the local market (i.e. Craigslist), we were able
to find a buyer for Kristi's beloved 1994 Mustang - We watched
as the proud new owner drove off into the sunset....

Congratulations
to our good friends, Brandon and Jennifer Jenkins, on their wonderful
wedding last weekend! We traveled to Buffalo, New York and drove
south to Springville for the wedding. We also had some extra time
and drove our rental car into Canada to see Niagara Falls. Let
me tell you from experience, it is always harder to get back into
the US than it is to cross the Canadian border. They even searched
our bags on the way back in. Hey, at least our northern border
patrol is doing their job!

We just returned home from our ski trip to Breckenridge, Colorado
on Friday and had a great time. The mountains are gorgeous this
time of year, even as some of the snow has melted. The weather
was in the upper 40's and low 50's all week long - almost too
warm! We saw only a couple inches of snow all week. The town of
Breckenridge has an elevation of over 9,000 feet, and some of
the peaks we skied topped out at over 14,000 feet! Let me tell
you, it's hard to breath up there at those altitudes. If it weren't
for the one day break from skiing in the middle of the week, we
would be more exhausted than we already are. Kristi and I ended
up skiing Breckenridge three days and drove to Vail the
last day. Check out the album!
